Regional IT Network Security Analyst job in Selangor for a world renowned manufacturer.
Your new company
This organisation is one of the world's largest cocoa manufacturers. Due to their continuous growth, a permanent Regional IT Network Security Analyst is required in their APAC HQ in either Port Klang, Selangor or Pasir Gudang, Johor.
Your new role
As IT Security Analyst you will need to have a high level of technical expertise in network and IT infrastructure security. In this hands-on role, you will first of all deliver on key IT security projects as member of a global security team. In the day-to-day, you will be monitoring the overall security of the corporate infrastructure and you will analyze cyber threats and bring in security intelligence and determine indicators of network compromise. You'll also be responsible for security event detection and response, security control documentation, and reporting. The IT Security Analyst reports to Global WAN IT Manager and, in dotted lines, to the Regional IT Infrastructure Manager and CISO.
You will also analyze security events, incidents and assist with escalation and remediation processes and protocols. Manage and act on escalated incidents in a timely manner using the corporate ITMS platform BMC Remedy Force and follow-up on the completion of these actions.. Conduct investigations to understand the root cause of the incident and recommend appropriate remediation plan. You need to perform tasks related to collecting and analyzing data necessary to meet the business needs surrounding Electronic Discovery, Computer Forensics and Incident Investigation
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor Degree, and 3+ years in an IT Security role, or the appropriate combined experience in one or more of the following areas: information security audits, information security, risk management, security and controls assessments, and/or IT audit,
- Solid knowledge and experience with Security Tools (Checkpoint, InfoBlox, Zscaler, F5, Juniper/Pulse Secure, Symantec Endpoint Protection … )
- Knowledge of network protocols (WAN, LAN, WLAN), data flows, and security concerns within a TCP/IP environment.
- A good understanding of LAN layer-3 security,
- An understanding of common vulnerabilities associated with operating systems and applications.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience developing content in enterprise SIEM platforms. E.g. Administration, architectures and security elements
- Language: English Fluent Required
